COVID and Your Wedding
To couples with weddings in 2024 and 2025, I hope you aren’t worrying too much with health challenges COVID may still be causing you and your families. I am happy to help with suggestions and recommendations.
LOOKING TO RESCHEDULE. I understand if you decide to reschedule (or scale back) your wedding for health and safety reasons and/or any possible restrictions that may be in place. Everything is flexible at our end with any changes you may decide to make. Whatever you end up needing to do, we will do our best to make it work for you with respect to our side of things.
NEW DATES OPTIONS. One suggestion if you are rescheduling, look at two or three alternative ‘new’ date options available with your venue. This way I can check availability at our end before you firm your new date up. Consider a midweek wedding if no suitable weekend dates available. Friday and Sunday date alternatives are also great options as more likelihood for availability in 2024 and 2025 (with venues and vendors).
BOOKING A NEW DATE. If you decide to cancel or postpone your wedding, and provided we have availability for your new date, a deposit of $300 will be required to book your rescheduled date. Your previous deposit (and any extra payments received) will roll over and be credited to your photography account. Depending on when your rescheduled date is, there may be a rate increase on the WBTH and album package options. I will update you with any rate changes when you let me know your new date. If myself or one of my team is not available for your new date, you will receive a refund of your deposit provided I rebook your original date.
PETITE WEDDINGS. Smaller ‘tiny’ weddings are popular with couples who are postponing their big wedding to a future date, or just looking to have a scaled back celebration without all the fuss, chaos, and expense.
QUESTIONS. I am part of your wedding team and there is never a bad time to reach out. Email is the best way to reach me. I will get back to you quickly.
DO NOT WORRY. We are here to help make everything less stressful for you with planning your wedding. I hope you and your family and friends are keeping well, healthy, and happy.
